Islamabad, August 31, 2025 – The Europe Today: Overcoming local challenges with determination and the spirit of “four on-the-spot” — readiness in manpower, equipment, logistics, and command — the Embassy of Vietnam in Islamabad successfully organized the celebration of Vietnam’s 80th National Day, achieving results beyond expectations after more than a month of intensive preparation.
For the first time, the celebration prompted the Prime Minister of Pakistan to officially extend a congratulatory letter to the Government and people of Vietnam. Adding further significance, the event’s guest of honor was the Minister of Finance of Pakistan, marking an unprecedented level of representation at the commemoration.
The program featured a solemn National Day ceremony followed by a vibrant cultural evening that showcased traditional Vietnamese cuisine, a joint Vietnam–Pakistan fashion performance, and a dynamic demonstration of Vietnam’s traditional martial art, Vovinam.
Guests expressed their appreciation for the professional and thoughtful hospitality of the Embassy’s staff, noting that the event left a strong and lasting impression.
Once again, the image of Vietnam’s land, people, and culture was meaningfully highlighted and further established in Pakistan, contributing to the strengthening of mutual understanding and friendship between the two nations.
