Ashgabat, January 10, 2024, The Europe Today: The series of fashion shows showcasing creations from prominent national designers, dedicated to promoting the inclusion of the Turkmen capital in the UNESCO network of creative cities, concluded in Ashgabat. Hind Judar, the president of the French fashion association Route De La Soie Et Al-Andalus and the organizer of the Oriental Fashion Show, participated in the event.
Judar commended the distinct identity that Turkmen design and fashion have cultivated, urging the preservation of a harmonious blend between national styles and contemporary fashion trends.
She acknowledged the exemplary professionalism of Turkmen designers and emphasized the need for presenting Turkmen couturiers’ collections on both regional and global fashion stages. Highlighting the significance of hand-made patterns and vibrant fabrics as integral elements of Turkmenistan’s heritage, Judar encouraged her Turkmen colleagues to safeguard the rich cultural legacy embedded in national clothing.
