Siemens Advanta Establishes China Headquarters in Suzhou to Drive Digital Transformation

Suzhou, March 06, 2024, The Europe Today: Siemens Advanta, the business unit of Siemens specializing in digital transformation and industrial Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, formalized the establishment of its China headquarters on Monday in the city of Suzhou, located in east China’s Jiangsu Province.

As part of its strategic expansion, Siemens Advanta’s presence in Suzhou will serve as a central hub for operations in the Chinese mainland market. Additionally, the company plans to extend its footprint to key regions, including Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.

The move is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing the intelligent transformation and sustainable development of enterprises. Siemens Advanta aims to leverage Siemens’ extensive professional and technological capabilities to drive new industrialization initiatives.

Suzhou New District, chosen as the location for Siemens Advanta’s China headquarters, is renowned as a high-tech industrial base. The management committee of Suzhou New District reported that the district has successfully attracted nearly 2,000 foreign-funded enterprises and secured 61 investment projects from the world’s top 500 enterprises. The district is also home to nearly 50 foreign-funded headquarters and institutions.

The collaboration between Siemens Advanta and Suzhou New District aligns with the district’s ongoing efforts to foster innovation and attract leading global enterprises. The establishment of Siemens Advanta’s China headquarters in Suzhou is anticipated to contribute significantly to the region’s technological advancements and economic growth.
