President Xi Jinping Advocates Enhanced Vitality in China’s Central Region

President Xi, who also serves as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, articulated these directives while presiding over a symposium dedicated to further energizing the central region in the new era as reported by The Gulf Observer.

In his address, President Xi underscored the central region’s pivotal role as a crucial grain production base, an essential source of energy and raw materials, a hub for modern equipment manufacturing and high-tech industries, and a comprehensive transportation nexus. The symposium, attended by prominent leaders including Li Qiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese Premier, Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, and Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese Vice Premier, convened to assess the region’s progress since the previous symposium held five years ago.

President Xi acknowledged the strides made by the central region while highlighting persistent challenges that necessitate pragmatic solutions. He stressed the imperative of advancing industrial innovation propelled by scientific and technological advancements and nurturing new forces of productivity.
