Tashkent, April 07, 2024, The Europe Today: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, recently held a meeting with Mr. Antti Karttunen, the coordinator of OSCE projects in Uzbekistan, to discuss ongoing collaboration and initiatives.
In a statement shared on the Ministry’s official Telegram channel, Minister Saidov highlighted the productive nature of their discussions, emphasizing the robust cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE across various domains, particularly in economic and environmental spheres.
“We met with Mr. Antti Karttunen, the coordinator of the OSCE projects in Uzbekistan,” stated Minister Saidov. “We are actively cooperating in the development of joint projects in all three directions of the organization’s activities, especially in the economic and environmental fields. We express our gratitude to the OSCE for its constant support of the reforms implemented in our country.”
The meeting underscores Uzbekistan’s commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships with international organizations like the OSCE to advance mutual objectives and bolster socio-economic development and environmental initiatives within the country.
