Tehran, August 22, 2024, The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Iran and Permanent Representative to the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Ali Alizadeh, held a meeting with the newly appointed ECO Secretary General, Dr. Asad Majid Khan, in Tehran. The meeting, which was highlighted in a post shared on the Embassy’s official X account, focused on deepening collaboration within the organization.
In the post, Ambassador Alizadeh expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, stating, “I am pleased to meet with the new Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), dear Dr. Asad M. Khan.” He added that both parties “exchanged views on further strengthening the role of the ECO and continuing Azerbaijan’s active cooperation and contribution within the organization.”
