Turkmenistan and United States Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Ashgabat, August 24, 2024, The Europe Today: During a recent meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova, and U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, Elizabeth Rood, both parties engaged in discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian areas.

The meeting underscored the positive trajectory of relations between Turkmenistan and the United States, which are firmly rooted in the principles of mutual respect and trust. Both sides acknowledged the significance of trade and economic ties, as well as cultural and humanitarian collaboration, in fostering a strong bilateral agenda.

Furthermore, Byashimova and Rood agreed on the importance of continuing their dialogue, particularly in relation to the implementation of joint projects in the fields of science and education.
