Hanoi, October 4, 2024 – The Europe Today: Today, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính called on Vietnamese businesspeople to play a pioneering role in leveraging opportunities created by international integration and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The statement was made during a meeting with permanent Government members and entrepreneurs in Hà Nội, in celebration of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day, which will mark its 20th anniversary on October 13.
The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the day as an opportunity to honor entrepreneurs and encourage them to make further contributions to the nation. He reaffirmed that the Party, State, and Government are committed to supporting Vietnamese businesspeople, who have been instrumental in driving socio-economic development and enhancing Vietnam’s global reputation.
Recognizing the expansion of Vietnam’s business community in both scale and quality, Chính noted that many Vietnamese entrepreneurs have secured a strong presence regionally and internationally. He encouraged them to renew traditional growth models, embrace emerging global trends, and capitalize on new economic drivers.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister urged entrepreneurs to actively engage with the Government by proposing improvements to institutions, mechanisms, and policies to foster a more conducive business environment. He also called on business leaders to fulfill their social responsibilities by contributing to social welfare, supporting disadvantaged groups, and aiding remote, border, and island communities.
