Xi Jinping and Vietnamese Leader Luong Cuong Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Beijing, October 11, 2024 – The Europe Today: Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of China, met with Luong Cuong, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and permanent member of the CPV Central Committee Secretariat, on Friday in Beijing.

During the meeting, Xi emphasized that the commitment to communist party leadership and the socialist system is a fundamental characteristic shared by both China and Vietnam. He noted that this shared commitment serves as a robust political foundation for the development of bilateral relations.
