Baku, February 3, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, received Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran announced on X.
During the meeting, Hikmet Hajiyev conveyed warm greetings from President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and extended an official invitation for President Pezeshkian to visit Azerbaijan.
Expressing his gratitude for the message and the invitation, President Pezeshkian requested Hajiyev to relay his warm regards to President Ilham Aliyev.
The discussions underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthening bilateral ties and fostering diplomatic cooperation on regional and international matters.
