Azerbaijan, Guinea Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation at Munich Security Conference

Munich, February 15, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with Guinea’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Guineans Abroad, Morissanda Kouyaté, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference to discuss prospects for enhanced cooperation between the two nations.

During the meeting, the ministers explored opportunities for collaboration in various sectors, including the economy, trade, education, and humanitarian initiatives. Minister Bayramov highlighted the positive impact of reciprocal visits and engagements in fostering discussions on potential bilateral and multilateral partnerships.

Emphasizing the significance of educational cooperation, Bayramov noted that scholarship and exchange programs play a vital role in strengthening ties between the youth of both countries.

The two ministers also reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation within regional and international organizations, particularly the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Non-Aligned Movement. Additionally, they exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest, underscoring the shared vision for further strengthening bilateral relations.
