Azerbaijan, Ukraine Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

Baku, February 21, 2025 – The Europe Today: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olexandr Mischenko, to discuss key aspects of bilateral cooperation and regional developments.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their countries’ steadfast commitment to sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of borders. They emphasized the importance of maintaining strong bilateral relations based on the fundamental principles of international law and mutual respect.

Mischenko expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan’s contributions to Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction, particularly highlighting the humanitarian aid extended to the Ukrainian people. The discussions also addressed regional and global issues of shared interest.

In addition to the high-level meeting, the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Ukraine held political consultations. The discussions were led by Azerbaijani Deputy Minister Samir Sharifov and Ukraine’s Olexandr Mischenko, further reinforcing diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

The meetings underscored the commitment of Azerbaijan and Ukraine to deepening their cooperation and addressing common regional challenges.
