Islamabad, March 2, 2025 – The Europe Today: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tehran, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, has extended his congratulations to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on the occasion of its 90th anniversary, commending its professionalism and adherence to high journalistic standards.
In a congratulatory message on Saturday, the ambassador lauded IRNA’s dedication to upholding journalistic integrity, highlighting its commitment to credibility and excellence in reporting. He also acknowledged the agency’s significant role in fostering media relations between Iran and Pakistan, describing its efforts to strengthen bilateral ties as commendable.
His remarks follow a similar message from Muhammad Asim, Managing Director of the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), who last week congratulated IRNA’s CEO, Hossein Jaberi Ansari, on the agency’s milestone anniversary.
IRNA, as Iran’s official news agency, has been a key player in the region’s media landscape, contributing to the dissemination of accurate and timely news for nearly a century.
