Western Azerbaijan Community Condemns Armenia’s Continued Provocations

Baku, March 11, 2025 – The Europe Today: The Western Azerbaijan Community has strongly condemned Armenia for allegedly continuing provocative actions against Azerbaijan, according to a statement released by the organization.

The statement highlighted reports of an anti-Azerbaijani appeal made by a small group claiming to be a “parliament” to the legislature of a foreign country, as well as a meeting of a so-called “commission” engaged in activities against Azerbaijan.

“It is unacceptable that Armenia, which refuses to engage in dialogue with the Western Azerbaijan Community—an organization that has not taken any steps against Armenia’s sovereignty and only seeks a peaceful return to its ancestral lands—facilitates the activities of groups on its territory that threaten Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” the statement read.

The community further accused Armenia of being uninterested in achieving a lasting peace, asserting that the country continues to pursue militarization rather than diplomatic solutions.

“All this once again shows that Armenia is not interested in a lasting peace but seeks to create tension in the region by continuing its policy of armament,” the statement continued.

The Western Azerbaijan Community called on Armenia to abandon such actions, which it described as destructive and detrimental to the peace process.

This latest development comes amid ongoing tensions between the two countries, as efforts to reach a durable peace settlement remain fragile.
