Ankara, March 30, 2025 – The Europe Today: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan extended Eid Al-Fitr greetings to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during a phone call on Saturday, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
President Pezeshkian reciprocated the warm wishes, conveying his congratulations to Erdogan and the people of Turkey. He expressed his hope that all Muslims would benefit from the blessings of the occasion and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between the two nations.
During their conversation, Pezeshkian expressed his eagerness for an in-person meeting with President Erdogan to discuss matters of mutual interest, including regional and international developments.
Meanwhile, President Erdogan announced plans for a joint Iran-Turkey economic commission in the coming months. He noted that the forum would serve as a platform for in-depth discussions on bilateral relations, as well as regional and global affairs, reinforcing the strong diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.
