Hanoi, May 21, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron and his spouse will undertake a state visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from May 25 to 27, 2025, according to an official communiqué released by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visit is being made at the invitation of State President Lương Cường and marks a significant milestone in the deepening of the Vietnam–France strategic partnership.
President Macron’s visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across a wide range of fields, including politics, trade, investment, culture, education, and sustainable development. It will also provide an important opportunity for the two sides to exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The state visit reaffirms the strong and enduring relationship between Vietnam and France, built on historical ties, mutual respect, and shared aspirations for peace and prosperity.
