Ankara, June 5, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral relations, as well as key regional and global developments.
According to a statement released by Türkiye’s Communications Directorate, President Erdoğan emphasized that efforts would continue in the coming period to further strengthen the institutional framework of cooperation between Ankara and Tehran.
During the call, President Erdoğan also conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to President Pezeshkian on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha, the Muslim festival of sacrifice, which will commence on Friday.
