Cairo, July 24, 2025 – The Europe Today: Shahin Abdullayev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held a meeting with OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha.
During the meeting, Ambassador Abdullayev formally presented a letter of invitation from President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, inviting the OIC Secretary-General to attend the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, which is scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan in 2026.
Secretary-General Taha expressed his sincere appreciation to President Aliyev for the kind invitation and reaffirmed the OIC’s commitment to continued engagement and cooperation with Azerbaijan.
