U.S. Publishes Historic Peace and Partnership Documents Following Trump’s Meeting with Aliyev and Pashinyan

Washington, August 30, 2025 – The Europe Today: The United States has published the finalized documents from President Donald Trump’s historic August 8 meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, marking what has been described as the beginning of a new era of peace in the South Caucasus region.

According to the U.S. Department of State, the published documents include the Joint Declaration by the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia on the outcomes of their meeting in Washington, D.C.; the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the establishment of a Strategic Working Group to develop a Charter on Strategic Partnership; as well as memorandums of understanding signed between the United States and Armenia.
