Baku, September 16, 2025 — The Europe Today: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday underlined the strong and steadily advancing political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates during an expanded meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
“Our political relations are developing very successfully. We always stand by each other in international organizations. We support each other,” President Aliyev said.
He further noted the positive momentum in bilateral economic ties, highlighting deepening cooperation in the oil and gas sector as well as growing mutual investments.
“Among the documents signed today, cooperation in the transport sector has great prospects,” the Azerbaijani leader added, emphasizing the broadening scope of the partnership.
