Doha, September 16, 2025 — The Europe Today: President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday reaffirmed his country’s commitment to stand by nations targeted by Israeli aggression, during a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)–Arab League extraordinary summit in Doha, convened in response to Israel’s escalating actions in the region.
Erdogan described Israel’s widening aggression as “unacceptable” and stressed that Tel Aviv must be held accountable before international law for its violations. He underscored Ankara’s determination to push for an urgent ceasefire in Gaza and to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the war-torn enclave.
The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations, regional dynamics, and pressing global issues, reaffirming their shared commitment to closer cooperation in addressing common challenges.
