Baku, October 17, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed the country’s steadfast commitment to promoting cultural harmony and dialogue among civilizations during his address to participants of the 4th meeting of the Asian Cultural Council of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
President Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan continues to champion initiatives fostering mutual respect and understanding between diverse cultures on the international stage. “Azerbaijan also promotes harmonious relations among different cultures on the international stage and consistently advances a number of initiatives on the platform of inter-civilizational dialogue,” the head of state stated.
He further noted that the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, traditionally hosted by Azerbaijan, has become a globally recognized platform supporting international efforts to promote peace through culture.
President Aliyev’s remarks underscored Azerbaijan’s enduring role as a bridge between East and West, actively contributing to global dialogue, tolerance, and the advancement of cultural diplomacy.
