Islamabad, October 24, 2025 — The Europe Today: On 24th October 2025, Chinese business delegation from the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and Precise Development (HK) Limited, is currently visiting Pakistan. During the visit, the delegation met with Dr. Syed Murtaza Hassan Andrabi, Chairman, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC). The meeting provided a valuable platform for in-depth discussions on agricultural cooperation, research collaboration, and potential technological partnerships between China and Pakistan in the field of agricultural development.
The Chinese delegation included Mr. Yi Jiang, Director, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), Mr. David Chu, Chief Executive Officer, Precise Development (HK) Limited, China; and Ms. He He Amanda, Director of Precise Development (HK) Limited, China. From Pakistan, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Director (Eurasian Region) of Precise Development (HK) Limited, China, also attended the meeting.
The delegation commended the outstanding contributions of PARC in promoting agricultural innovation, advancing food security initiatives, and supporting sustainable farming practices across Pakistan. They acknowledged PARC’s scientific expertise and institutional capacity in developing modern agricultural technologies, high-yield crop varieties, and research-driven solutions that align with China’s vision for collaborative agricultural modernization.
Discussions primarily focused on enhancing agricultural cooperation through joint research projects, technology transfer, and capacity-building initiatives. Both sides explored opportunities for collaboration in areas such as precision agriculture, agri-technology exchange, livestock improvement, food processing, and climate-resilient farming techniques.
Dr. Andrabi highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing agricultural reforms, innovation potential, and the importance of international partnerships in addressing global challenges related to food security and sustainable development. He also emphasized the role of China–Pakistan collaboration under the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework in strengthening agricultural connectivity and knowledge-sharing.
The Chinese delegation expressed strong interest in establishing long-term partnerships with PARC to jointly promote modern agricultural practices, research cooperation, and investment in agri-based industries. Both agreed to maintain close coordination and develop a roadmap for future collaboration, aimed at fostering innovation, increasing productivity, and contributing to the prosperity of both nations through sustainable agricultural growth.
