Baku, November 03, 2025 – The Europe Today: President Ilham Aliyev has underscored the importance of safeguarding the Azerbaijani language, describing it as the duty of every citizen. He made the remarks while addressing a conference marking the 80th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
“The preservation of the purity of the Azerbaijani language should be the duty of every Azerbaijani citizen,” President Aliyev stated, highlighting the vital role of the national language in shaping cultural identity and unity.
The Head of State further emphasized that this responsibility extends to all segments of society, noting that “the state, scientists, linguists, writers, poets, journalists, and politicians must pay great attention to this issue.”
President Aliyev’s remarks reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s continued commitment to promoting and protecting its linguistic heritage as an essential component of national values and identity.
