Ashgabat, November 14, 2025 – The Europe Today: Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, held a telephone conversation on 13 November 2025 with Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, to discuss the current state and future prospects of Turkmen-Turkish relations.
Both sides noted the high level of political dialogue between the two countries and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two “brotherly nations.”
The ministers highlighted the positive experience of cooperation within international and regional organizations, particularly the United Nations and the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
Meredov and Fidan also exchanged views on preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled to take place on 12 December in Ashgabat.
