Washington, November 19, 2025 – The Europe Today: Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday reaffirmed the importance of establishing a clear and credible pathway toward a two-state solution, emphasizing the need for a defined plan to resolve the Palestinian issue.
Speaking during a joint press conference with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, the Crown Prince said Saudi Arabia seeks peace for Palestinians, Israelis, and the wider region, noting that extensive work is underway with the United States to advance this objective.
He praised President Trump’s efforts to support regional peace initiatives and highlighted the strength of the Saudi-U.S. partnership, stressing that Riyadh remains committed to bolstering bilateral ties despite attempts by some to undermine the relationship. “We have worked together for many decades, and today marks a historic day for the future of our relationship,” he said.
The Crown Prince underscored the importance of economic cooperation, describing the United States as “an important nation with a strong economy.” He announced that Saudi investments in the United States are set to increase to nearly $1 trillion, noting that the agreements signed Tuesday represent “the largest investment expansion in the history of the bilateral relationship.” The investments will extend across various sectors, further deepening economic ties between the two countries.
On regional matters, the Crown Prince said it would be beneficial for the Middle East to move toward a peace agreement with Iran. He also outlined the Kingdom’s long-term vision, which includes adopting advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence to support national development.
For his part, President Trump welcomed the Crown Prince, describing him as a close friend and “an impressive man on every level” who enjoys great respect in Washington. He also praised Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, remarking that he had told the monarch, “your son is truly exceptional.”
President Trump thanked Saudi Arabia for investing $600 billion in the U.S. economy and expressed hope that the figure would rise to $1 trillion. He said the expanding cooperation would generate new job opportunities and strengthen what he described as “a great and strategic” bilateral alliance.
Trump also announced that the United States would proceed with the sale of F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, calling the Kingdom “a strong and important ally.” He noted the Crown Prince’s role in improving ties with Syria and expressed optimism about the possibility of reaching a civilian nuclear agreement with Riyadh.
“The relationship with Saudi Arabia is at its best,” Trump said. “I love the Kingdom, and they love America. Saudi Arabia is a partner that believes in America’s success.”
