Ashgabat, November 26, 2025 – The Europe Today: A telephone conversation took place today between Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba.
During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Turkmen-Cuban relations. The ministers highlighted the effective cooperation between Turkmenistan and Cuba within international organizations, particularly the United Nations.
The dialogue also addressed preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat on 12 December 2025, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, the International Year of Peace and Trust, and the International Day of Neutrality.
At the conclusion of the call, both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to continue constructive dialogue and strengthen bilateral cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.
