Baku, December 10, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has conveyed his deep appreciation to President of the United States Donald Trump, acknowledging the U.S. leader’s efforts toward global peace and stability.
In an official letter addressed to President Trump, President Aliyev expressed gratitude for the “kind letter” he received and highlighted the value he places on the sincere words and recognition of Azerbaijan’s peace initiatives.
“I express my deep gratitude to you for your kind letter. I highly value your sincere words and acknowledgment of our efforts for peace and stability,” President Aliyev stated.
He praised President Trump’s continued commitment to conflict resolution, his personal involvement in promoting dialogue, and his contributions to reducing tensions in various regions.
“In my firm belief, your efforts fully merit the highest international recognition, including the Nobel Peace Prize,” Aliyev wrote, adding that Trump’s leadership, guided by determination and responsibility, serves as a model in advancing global peace.
President Aliyev further expressed confidence that ongoing dialogue and cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States would strengthen peace, security, and prosperity both bilaterally and internationally.
“Please accept my sincere appreciation for the spirit of mutual respect and the attention expressed in your letter,” the Azerbaijani leader concluded.
