Ashgabat, December 22, 2025 – The Europe Today: The presentation of the book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, titled “Hakyda göwheri” and published in Azerbaijani, was held today at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The event was attended by senior officials and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, chiefs of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, heads of Turkmen diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad, faculty members and students of the Institute, as well as representatives of the media.
During the presentation, speeches were delivered by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Myahri Byashimova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Gismat Gazalov, Chairperson of the Committee for Social Policy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the Turkmen-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Annamuhammet Sarjayev, Rector of the Institute of International Relations Gulshat Yusupova, and Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts Kakajan Janbekov. The event was moderated by Vice-Rector of the Institute Begench Myatliyev.
Speakers emphasized that the publication of Hero Arkadag’s book in Azerbaijani reflects the ongoing strengthening and deepening of the historically friendly Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations. They highlighted that the work, grounded in historical facts, vividly illustrates the glorious path of the Turkmen people, their contribution to world culture, and the spiritual heritage of prominent figures. The book was also recognized as a valuable scientific resource for the study of ancient Oguz literature.
Participants expressed confidence that the Azerbaijani edition of “Hakyda göwheri” will make a significant contribution to cultural dialogue, promote the rich history of Turkmenistan, and provide Azerbaijani readers with an in-depth understanding of the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people.
