Ashgabat, December 22, 2025 – The Europe Today: His Excellency Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, has extended warm birthday greetings to His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In his message, President Berdimuhamedov congratulated President Aliyev and highlighted the significant progress Azerbaijan has achieved under his leadership in socio-economic development and the improvement of citizens’ living standards.
Recalling their meeting in Gabala during the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, President Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that Turkmenistan–Azerbaijan cooperation will continue to grow and deepen for the benefit of both nations. He also expressed gratitude for President Aliyev’s personal contributions and dedication to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Concluding his message, President Berdimuhamedov wished President Aliyev good health, happiness, and continued success in his duties, and extended his best wishes for peace, progress, and prosperity to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.
