Baku, January 14, 2026 – The Europe Today: President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday paid tribute to the martyrs of Azerbaijan during a meeting with residents of the villages of Ashaghi Oratagh, Childiran, Heyvali, and Chapar in the Aghdara district.
“We will forever cherish the memory of our martyrs in our hearts,” President Aliyev said, highlighting the nation’s enduring respect and gratitude for those who sacrificed their lives.
The President further emphasized Azerbaijan’s determination to honor their legacy, stating, “I must also state that we have already avenged our martyrs on the battlefield. Their blood did not go unavenged.”
The remarks reflect Azerbaijan’s commitment to commemorating its fallen heroes while reinforcing the importance of national unity and resilience in the Aghdara district.
