Nakhchivan to Host New Affordable Housing Complex with 518 Apartments

Nakhchivan, August 12, 2026 — The Europe Today: An affordable housing complex comprising 518 apartments is planned for construction in Nakhchivan, with the project designed to provide modern residential facilities and supporting infrastructure for residents.

Chairman of the Board of the State Housing Development Agency, Sadig Sadigov, briefed the head of state on the facilities and infrastructure envisaged under the project.

Nearly five hectares of land have been allocated for the construction of the multi-apartment residential complex. The development will comprise 16 six- and seven-story buildings, offering a total of 518 apartments.

The complex will include 93 one-room, 37 two-room, 351 three-room and 37 four-room apartments, providing a range of housing options for residents.

Comprehensive infrastructure is planned to ensure comfortable living conditions. The complex will be connected to electricity, gas, water supply and sewage systems. Roads and sidewalks will also be constructed, while landscaping and greening works will be carried out across the site.

The project additionally envisages the construction of a kindergarten and other catering facilities, further enhancing the social and community infrastructure of the residential area.

During the briefing, the head of state was also informed about projects already implemented by the State Housing Development Agency, as well as projects planned for the future.

The development of the new affordable housing complex is expected to contribute to the expansion of modern residential infrastructure and improve access to quality housing in Nakhchivan.
