Baku, August 18, 2026 — The Europe Today: Azerbaijan exported $3.713 billion worth of natural and cultured pearls, precious and semi-precious stones, precious metals, jewellery and related products during the first seven months of 2026, according to the State Statistical Committee.
The figure represents a 20.6-fold increase compared with the same period of 2025, with exports rising by $3.532 billion year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan imported $56.542 million worth of pearls, precious and semi-precious stones, precious metals, jewellery and related products during January-July 2026.
The import value declined 66.9-fold compared with the corresponding period last year, representing a decrease of $3.724 billion.
The latest trade figures highlight a significant shift in Azerbaijan’s foreign trade in precious metals, gemstones and jewellery-related products during the reporting period.
