Ashgabat, September 16, 2026 – The Europe Today: Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Lee Dal-gon, Chairman of the Committee on Shared Growth of the Republic of Korea, on September 15 on the sidelines of the Turkmen-Korean Business Forum.
The meeting focused on prospects for further developing socio-economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.
The sides discussed opportunities to expand business ties and establish new contacts between representatives of the business communities of the two countries.
The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening economic and business cooperation and creating new avenues for interaction between Turkmenistan and South Korean companies.
Lee Dal-gon has previously served as Minister of Government Administration and Security of the Republic of Korea, Secretary of State for Political Affairs to the President of the Republic of Korea, and a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.
