Kazakhstan’s Milad Karimi Wins Gold at 2025 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Cottbus

Cottbus, February 23, 2025 – The Europe Today: Milad Karimi of Kazakhstan secured the gold medal in the individual all-around event at the 2025 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, held in Cottbus, Germany. The victory was confirmed by Kazinform News Agency, citing the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan.

Karimi claimed first place with an impressive score of 14.133 points in the men’s all-around event, surpassing his closest competitors, Kazuki Minami of Japan, who earned 13.666 points, and Niccolo Vannucchi of Italy, who scored 13.533 points.

His achievement marks a significant milestone for Kazakhstan in the international gymnastics arena, further solidifying the nation’s growing presence in the sport.

In related sporting success, it was previously reported that Mikhail Shaidorov became the second Kazakhstani athlete to win the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, following in the footsteps of Denis Ten, who claimed the title in 2015.
