Islamabad, July 20, 2025 – The Europe Today: His Excellency Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, has extended his profound condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Government and people of Pakistan in the wake of the tragic loss of lives caused by heavy monsoon rains across the country.
In his message, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam expressed deep sorrow over the loss of hundreds of precious lives and the injuries sustained by many more due to the devastating rainfall and flooding in various regions of Pakistan.
“I am extremely dejected to learn that the heavy monsoon rains claimed the lives of hundreds of my dear Pakistani brothers and sisters and injured many more people in different regions,” he stated. “May Allah Almighty bestow blessings upon the souls of the departed and grant them a place in Jannah.”
The Ambassador conveyed his sincere condolences to the bereaved families and expressed solidarity with the nation during this difficult time. “My heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan, especially those families who lost their loved ones. We pray for the safe and swift recovery of the injured,” he said.
Underscoring the enduring bond between the two neighboring countries, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam affirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s readiness to provide any form of support or assistance needed. “The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for any assistance to the government and people of the brotherly and neighborly country of Pakistan,” he added.
Concluding his message, the Ambassador said, “Our hearts and souls are with our brothers and sisters in this time of grief.”
