Avaza, August 11, 2025 – The Europe Today: A significant meeting took place today at the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” between Ahmet Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Ms. Fatimé Aldjineh Garfa, Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, International Cooperation, and Chadians Abroad of the Republic of Chad.

During the discussions, the Turkmen side expressed its sincere gratitude to the Chadian delegation for their active participation in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3). Both parties underscored the importance of this international event as a platform to enhance cooperation among nations and promote sustainable development.

The meeting highlighted the considerable potential for advancing bilateral relations across multiple domains, including political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The diplomats explored opportunities for mutual participation of delegations from Turkmenistan and Chad in upcoming events organized by both countries throughout 2025.

Particular emphasis was placed on the forthcoming International Forum of Peace and Trust, scheduled for December in Ashgabat, which will commemorate the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The forum is expected to serve as a key occasion for fostering dialogue and collaboration.

In response, Ms. Garfa extended an invitation to the Turkmen side to consider involvement in activities under the “Chad Connection 2030” initiative, aimed at advancing regional development goals.

Both sides concluded the meeting with a shared commitment to continue collaborative efforts to deepen Turkmen-Chadian relations across all mutually beneficial areas.
