Islamabad, November 07, 2025 – The Europe Today: Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf met with Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan and Acting President of Pakistan, during his official visit to Islamabad.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in Iran–Pakistan cooperation and exchanged views on enhancing parliamentary interactions between the two countries. They also reviewed the opportunities and challenges facing both nations, with a particular focus on expanding bilateral trade and economic collaboration.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining close dialogue between the parliaments of Iran and Pakistan to further strengthen political understanding and promote mutually beneficial cooperation across various sectors.
