Baku, February 1, 2026 — The Europe Today: On February 1, Azerbaijan facilitated the transit of another cargo shipment to Armenia, according to official reports.
This latest shipment consisted of 25 grain-loaded wagons with a total weight of 1,746 tons, dispatched from the Bilajari Railway Station.
Since the commencement of the transit arrangement, a total of 285 grain wagons—amounting to nearly 19,900 tons of grain—have been transported from Russia to Armenia through Azerbaijani territory.
The transit operations highlight Azerbaijan’s continued role in ensuring regional trade connectivity and logistics support between neighboring countries.
