Islamabad, February 20, 2026 – The Europe Today: The Ambassador of Ethiopia held a productive courtesy call today with H.E. Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad, to discuss avenues for enhanced bilateral engagement and regional collaboration.
During the meeting, both envoys exchanged views on Ethiopia’s growing role in regional integration and Turkmenistan’s continued support for landlocked nations in promoting connectivity and sustainable development.
The discussions focused on expanding cooperation across key sectors, including aviation, energy, culture, and education. Both sides underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships that contribute to economic growth, knowledge exchange, and people-to-people ties.
