Dubai, May 29, 2026 – The Europe Today: In celebration of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day on May 28, the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa in Dubai was illuminated in the colors of the Azerbaijani national flag.
The iconic tower was lit up in blue, red, and green as part of a visual tribute marking the national occasion of Azerbaijan Independence Day.
The illumination display was jointly organized by Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions in the United Arab Emirates, highlighting the strong cultural and diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The spectacular light show transformed the skyline of Dubai into a symbolic gesture of friendship and solidarity, drawing attention to Azerbaijan’s national celebration on one of the world’s most recognizable architectural landmarks.
