Samarkand, October 22, 2026 – The Europe Today: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visited the Eternal City complex in Samarkand during her visit to Uzbekistan on October 21.
During the visit, Aliyeva met with Emine Erdoğan, First Lady of Türkiye, and Dilrabo Mansuri, Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan.
The three held a conversation during their meeting and posed for commemorative photographs together.
The visit formed part of Aliyeva’s engagements in Samarkand, where several cultural and diplomatic activities brought together prominent representatives from the region.
