Ashgabat, September 22, 2025 — The Europe Today: Renowned poet Rakhman Dowletow has been named a laureate of the prestigious Türkmeniň Altyn asyry (“Golden Age of the Turkmen”) prize for his outstanding contributions to national literature, according to official state media reports.

The award was conferred under a resolution signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In recognition of his achievements, Dowletow was presented with the President’s Gold Chain and a cash prize of 3,500 manats.

Dowletow’s poetry is celebrated for its rich diversity of themes, accessible yet artistic language, and topical relevance that resonates deeply with readers. His works consistently reflect a profound love for the homeland, loyalty to the people, and respect for the nation’s leadership—embodied by the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Central to his writings are messages of kindness, mutual respect, and devotion to every corner of the native land. Last year, the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan released a new four-part collection of his poems, imbued with patriotic spirit and national values, further enriching the educational and cultural landscape of the country.

Widely recognized as one of Turkmenistan’s most prominent contemporary poets, Dowletow continues to pursue creative growth and artistic excellence, solidifying his place as a leading voice in Turkmen literature.
