Ankara, September 27, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid tribute to the memory of Azerbaijani martyrs who laid down their lives in defense of the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Marking the occasion of Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan, President Erdoğan shared a post on social media, expressing his respect for the fallen heroes and gratitude to veterans.
“On Remembrance Day observed in our friend and brother country Azerbaijan, I honor the memory of the martyrs with respect and express my gratitude to the veterans who demonstrated heroism in liberating Karabakh and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Karabakh is forever Azerbaijan!” he stated.
President Erdoğan’s message underscores the close ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan and reaffirms support for Azerbaijan’s sovereignty.
