Islamabad, October 8, 2025 – The Europe Today: Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, Mr. A. Movlamov, received the High Commissioner-designate of Canada to Pakistan, Mr. Tarik Ali Khan, for a courtesy call.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the current regional situation and explored avenues to strengthen cooperation. Ambassador Movlamov briefed the Canadian envoy on Turkmenistan’s policy of Permanent Neutrality, highlighting its focus on fostering trust, maintaining regional stability, and promoting mutually beneficial partnerships.
The discussions also underscored the strategic importance of infrastructure and energy projects, recognized as vital components for integrating the regional energy network and advancing sustainable economic development.
Concluding the meeting, Ambassador Movlamov conveyed his best wishes to Mr. Tarik Ali Khan for a successful tenure in his diplomatic mission in Pakistan.
