Astana, October 15, 2025 – The Europe Today: Henley & Partners has released the latest edition of its Passport Index, which ranks countries according to the number of destinations their citizens can access without a visa, media reports said.
According to the new rankings, Kazakhstan secured the 67th position, surpassing its regional neighbors, with Kyrgyzstan at 81st and Uzbekistan at 82nd.
Singapore retained its top spot, granting its citizens visa-free access to 193 destinations, followed by South Korea with 190 and Japan with 189.
In a notable shift, the United States passport fell out of the Top 10 for the first time in the index’s 20-year history, now ranking 12th, a position it shares with Malaysia. The Russian passport also experienced a decline, dropping from 46th to 50th, now placed after Venezuela and Moldova.
The Henley Passport Index continues to serve as a benchmark for global travel freedom, reflecting both geopolitical changes and evolving visa policies worldwide.
