Closing Remarks by Mr. Malik M. Shafiq

Aslaam o Alikum,

Exellencies Ladies and Gentlemen,

As we come to the conclusion of this meaningful conference, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency Atadjan, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan and Excellency Mr. Muhammad Yahya, UNRC (Pakistan) for their gracious presence and valuable insights.

My sincere thanks also go to the Professor Dr. Saleem Mazhar, Haji Nawaz Raza, Raja Abdul Qayyum, Dr. Rashid Hameed and management of the National Language Promotion Department (NLPD), and lastly to the management of The Gulf Observer, for their commendable efforts in organizing this successful conference.

For three decades, Turkmenistan’s policy of permanent neutrality has stood as a beacon of diplomatic balance — fostering regional stability, promoting economic cooperation, and advancing global peace initiatives. Today’s discussions have reaffirmed the enduring relevance of that vision and the shared commitment of all participants to uphold dialogue, understanding, and mutual respect among nations.

Thank you all for your participation and contributions. May the spirit of cooperation and peace we have celebrated today continue to inspire our collective endeavors in the years ahead.
