Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said the award reflects the profound respect and recognition of the Uzbek people for President Berdimuhamedov’s efforts in strengthening friendship, mutual trust, and the strategic partnership between the two nations. “You are honorably continuing the work of your father, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov,” Mirziyoyev noted.

President Mirziyoyev commended Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s contributions to enhancing Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation, particularly in trade, economic development, and cross-border initiatives. Key achievements include the launch of the Shavat–Dashoguz cross-border trade zone and advancements in partnerships across energy, transport, and logistics sectors.
