Baku, November 19, 2025 – The Europe Today: Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, held a meeting with visiting Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication of Pakistan, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, to discuss avenues for enhanced cooperation in information and communication technology (ICT).
During the meeting, Minister Nabiyev highlighted the latest innovations and developments in Azerbaijan’s digital and technological sectors, emphasizing the country’s commitment to advancing its digital economy and infrastructure.
Both sides agreed to establish a joint working group aimed at expanding the regulatory and legal framework for ICT and implementing collaborative projects in the field. The initiative is expected to strengthen bilateral ties and promote shared technological advancements between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
