Astana, November 19, 2025 – The Europe Today: Kazakhstan has welcomed the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803 (2025) on the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, according to media reports.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the diplomatic efforts that led to the ceasefire agreement, acknowledging in particular the contributions of the United States and President Donald Trump, along with other states that played a pivotal role in securing the resolution’s passage.
The Ministry described the adoption of Resolution 2803 as an important step toward de-escalating the situation in the Gaza Strip, rebuilding trust among the parties, and advancing prospects for lasting peace in the Middle East.
Reaffirming its longstanding position, Kazakhstan reiterated its support for a peaceful, comprehensive, and sustainable settlement to the Middle East conflict. The statement underscored the country’s commitment to solutions grounded in the UN Charter, relevant Security Council resolutions, international humanitarian law, and the two-state vision that foresees an independent, viable, and territorially contiguous State of Palestine.
The Ministry further emphasized that, in the spirit of the Abraham Accords, Kazakhstan remains ready to engage constructively with all partners, including key mediators, to support international efforts aimed at stabilizing the situation. This includes bolstering humanitarian assistance for affected populations and fostering conditions conducive to a durable political process.
